AMICO EIFS Starter Strip (with Drip Edge)
is used to provide a shelf or edge support for foam board and EIFS finish. This bead often allows the installer to dispense with the necessity to back wrap and finish the bottom edge of the board (check with EIFS manufacturers to assure that this is allowed with their system). The bottom leg and lip serves as a drip edge to funnel moisture away from the wall or foundation. This bead is usually installed at the bottom of framed walls. Excellent adhesion of EIFS finishes and paint can be expected with all AMICO vinyl EIFS beads.
